SEE YOU IN 2021 WITH THE COSTA DEGLI ETRUSCHI EPIC

The Costa degli Etruschi thanks everyone and sends back to 2021 to be able to live his “EPIC RACE” with serenity.

The 22nd edition of the Costa degli Etruschi had started with the best wishes, becoming “Epic” and joining the prestigious international UCI Marathon Series circuit. A historic race would have had to run on June 7, 2020, and registrations had arrived copiously before everything stopped for the Covid-19 emergency.

“You can imagine that this decision was particularly difficult for us, we were looking forward to this great moment. The return after 10 years on the international scene. However we know that a great event, to be such, needs different components, enthusiasm and the desire to have fun, elements that in this period are not within any of us, therefore the only right decision was to send a symbolic embrace to all, and look forward to seeing you in 2021 for a great COSTA DEGLI ETRUSCHI EPIC, where each of you will be able to pronounce the now famous phrase I WAS THERE.”

These are the words of Daniele Gronchi, President of the MTB Club Cecina.

We are going to define the date of the 2021 event calmly, now the important thing is to solve the problems that afflict our nation and the entire globe.

Registration will be frozen and we will give you more information later.
