RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE
Competitors foreseen by the FCI regulations currently valid for the 2024 season for the types of point to
point XC races and in any case starting from the Junior and Master Junior categories and in the Marathon course (70Km) competitors foreseen by the UCI/FCI regulations currently valid for the 2023 season for the types of XCM race routes. Participants accept our liability conditions without objection, renouncing any
legal action against the Organizing Committee.
Competitors must:
Be in good standing with the valid 2024 membership with the UCI/FCI or Sports Promotion Bodies
recognized by the FCI and in good standing with the sports medical certificate, all of which must be shown when collecting the bib
If they do not hold a recognized card, they must be in possession of a regular sports medical certificate and acquire a daily FCI card made available by the Organizing Committee at a cost of €. 10.00;
Without a valid medical certificate or sports card the athlete CANNOT participate in the race.

Registrations open on 12.15.2023
You can register online via Endu.net or via paper form.
FCI members must compulsorily register through the K factor
( http://fci.ksport.kgroup.eu ) through the sports club to which you belong by Thursday 09/05/2024 at 12:00 am After this date and time the K factor will be closed and will not be reopened for ANY category.
SHARES
The participation fees are as follows:
€35 from 15 December 2023 to 07 January 2023 (the first 100 subscribers will receive our gadget as a gift) €40 from 08 January 2024 to 31 March 2024 (the gadget can be booked at a cost of €10 until 31 March)
€45 from 01 April 2024 to 09 May 2023
€50 from Saturday 11 May 2024 and Sunday 12 May 2024 until 8.30 am

CUMULATIVE TEAMS 1 FREE FEE FOR EVERY 10 MEMBERS OF THE SAME TEAM.
For large teams, in case of cumulative registration on the website
https://www.endu.net/it/events/granfondo-costa-degli-etruschi-mtb/ 9 members must be entered while the 10th member must be communicated by sending data via email (iservizi@detecht.it), attaching a copy
of the card, the choice of route, cumulative registration form, email address and copy of the cumulative
payment made, completing correctly in all its parts. Otherwise the registration will be declared invalid.
It will be the concern of the C.O. confirm and insert the name not uploaded through the registration
procedure in the ENDU portal into the starting list

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
The registration fee is NOT refunded.
It will be possible to freeze the registration for the following year by promptly communicating the request by 04/30/2024, the date of processing of the race material at a cost of €. 10.00.
ATHLETE REPLACEMENT AND CHANGE OF ROUTE
It is possible to replace the name of a participant with that of another person by 04/30/2024 at midnight. For this operation a secretarial fee of € will be required. 10.00 through:

If, due to force majeure or any other reason not attributable to the organization, the event does not take place, the participation amount will not be refunded or recognized for the following year.

PRIVACY
The personal data communicated upon registration will be saved, used and processed exclusively for the
organization and carrying out of the event. By registering, the participant hereby declares that their personal
data may also be used by third parties. You declare that you accept the publication, in paper and digital form, of the starting lists and final rankings on the various websites of the event, of the National and International Cycling Federations and of the timing company. By registering, the participant declares to consent to the publication of personal data on all media (internet, homepage and printed matter, etc.). Furthermore, the participant and the organizer declare that the photographic and video material, taken as part of the event, may be disseminated and published, without making any request for compensation..
REGULATORY CHANGES
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify and vary the following regulations, the route and
altitude profiles until the Race takes place.
PROVIDED CATEGORIES
The categories admitted to the new edition of the Costa degli Etruschi EPIC will be those in force established
by the FCI/UCI regulations for the 2024 season
MARATHON: OPEN M/W (Elite – Under 23), MASTER Men (EliteSport – M1 – M2 – M3 – M4 – M5 – M6 – M7 – M8), MASTER Women (EliteSport MW1 – 2 – 3);
For promotional purposes for this edition there will also be a Men’s Under 23 category separated from the Open category.
CLASSIC (48 km/1200 m): JUNIOR M/W, MASTER MASTER Men (EliteSport – M1 – M2 – M3 – M4 – M5 – M6 – M7 – M8), MASTER Women (EliteSport MW1 – 2 – 3);GRIGLIE DI PARTENZA
The starting grids for the year 2024 will be in blocks to guarantee greater fluidity of the route and fully enjoy it, considering the territorial characteristics in which the Costa degli Etruschi Epic takes place.
STARTING TIMES AND RACE
The times indicated and the composition of the grids are at the discretion of the C.O. of the Etruscan Coast
EPIC who will be able to modify them before the start of the race, to guarantee the best running of the event.
The women’s categories that will start, excluding the OPEN, will be able to choose the desired starting
block;
Athletes starting in the wrong grid will be disqualified. Athletes registered for the Classic route, but who will start with the athletes of the Marathon route will be disqualified.
It should be noted that the starting time of the Marathon route is set for 9.30 am and the Classic one
approximately 15 minutes after the last athlete of the Marathon route passes onto the timing mat.
TECHNICAL PROVISIONS
The Etruscan Coast EPIC is a mountain bike race, in which only the use of mountain bicycles or mountain
tandems is permitted. It will be possible to carry out small repairs along the specifically indicated technical areas (see Feed Technical Zone) in which the presence of our assistance stands along the route will also be indicated, if not assisted by your Team. It is advisable to do a technical check of the vehicle before setting
off.

SECURITY MEASURES
For the protection of the athletes, the use of an approved helmet is mandatory throughout the race.
The use of cameras or cams positioned on the bike, on the helmet or on the body is prohibited, unless
previously authorized by the CO. subject to approval by the Race Jury, as required by current UCI/FCI
regulations, under penalty of disqualification.
The race will also take place on public and private roads. It is everyone’s duty to respect the rules of the
Italian road code. Furthermore, it is mandatory to comply with the relevant UCI and FCI regulations. Anyone who does not respect these rules will be immediately disqualified.
PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF JURY COMPETITION
The President of the Jury for the Marathon route will be designated by the UCI, to which the race is
regularly registered, supported by collaborators designated by the FCI and by the Off-Road Racing Director, chosen by the CO. in the appropriate FCI Register currently valid for national and international competitions.
Any complaints may be made official to the jury panel in the manner provided for by the current UCI and
FCI regulations.
AWARDS
Immediately after the arrival of the first classified, the “flowers ceremony” will take place in the arrival area.
The official awards ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm at Park Hotel Marinetta. At the official awards ceremony, the categories foreseen by the UCI/FCI regulations will be awarded as follows:
Marathon route
OPEN Men: 1st/5th place;
OPEN Women: 1st/5th place;
UNDER 23 Male 1st/5th place
UNDER 23 Female 1st / 5th place
Expected amateur categories: 1st/3rd place;
Classic route:
Overall M/F: 1st/3rd place;
Junior: 1st/3rd place;
Expected amateur categories: 1st/3rd place.
PRIZES IN CASH
The cash prizes foreseen for the Competitor categories by the UCI/FCI Regulations for International
competitions will be guaranteed;
The C.O. reserves the right to publish the expected cash prizes, including the guaranteed tables, for the Top 10 male and Top 5 female finishers on the specific section of the PRIZE MOUNT website.

DISQUALIFICATIONS
The C.O. reserves the right to exclude athletes from the competition if they are not welcome.
The use of bicycles equipped with any kind of electrical and/or assisted support and aid is prohibited.

RULES FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
Waste must be thrown into the appropriate TRASH ZONES marked along the route at the end of each
refreshment point. The TRASH ZONES will also be equipped with special bins. However, waste will be
thrown on the ground in these areas and will be promptly collected by the personnel in charge.
Outside the TRASH ZONES it is strictly forbidden to throw waste along the route under penalty of
disqualification. It should also be noted that the EPIC Etruscan Coast is set within the Magona National Park, therefore we guarantee its maintenance with our behavior.

RESPONSIBILITY’
Participation in the Etruscan Coast EPIC is at your own risk. By registering, the competitor renounces any
right to complain, including against third parties, against the CO and all those natural and legal persons
involved in the organization of the event. Furthermore, the competitors confirm by registering that they are in good physical condition to be able to participate in a competition such as the Etruscan Coast EPIC.

WITHDRAWALS
Abandonment of the route is prohibited, subject to notification to the recognizable personnel (Marshall)
who will collect the front panel (transponder) placed on the race board and who will notify the C.O. and the Panel of Juries placed at the arrival of the event.

POSITIONING AND TIMES OF THE RACE CLOSING GATE
The closing gate for the Marathon route only will be positioned at approximately 38km in the locality. Small
house in Campo di Sasso.
Only the athletes who follow the Marathon route, outside the travel time limit, will be diverted at the finish line and continue to follow the signs of the Classic route.
No exceptions will be made for any reason or any case. After the closing gate, part of the signs will be
removed by the personnel in charge.
The closing gate of the Marathon route will be activated after 12.15pm in Casetta Campo di Sasso

RULES OF CONDUCT
The slower competitors are obliged to facilitate the overtaking of the faster athletes;
The passages that are not clearly visible must be covered with an adequate speed;
In the descent passages never exceed your technical limit;
Any technical breakdowns of the vehicle must be repaired outside the race route, to guarantee the safety of those arriving;
Changing the track during the final sprint is not permitted;
Failure to comply with the rules will result in immediate disqualification;

Self-certifications and obligations deriving from signing the registration form
By signing the registration form the competitor declares: to be in possession of the medical certificate
according to the Ministerial Decree. of 02/18/82; to be in possession of a regular membership card of a sports promotion body in compliance with current legislation; that I have read and fully accept this
regulation; that you have read and understood it in full
GDPR: By signing the registration form, the competitor declares to authorize ASD Mountain Bike Club Cecina to send all organizational communications regarding the event in question via email.
Ethical Requirement: By signing and sending the registration form, the competitor, together with the
representative of his team, self-certifies the non-existence of sporting, civil and/or criminal sanctions or
ongoing investigations against him for facts relating to doping and declares that he has not taken – and does not take – substances included in the anti-doping list of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
(https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/sciencemedicine/prohibited-list).
In case of positivity in the anti-doping controls carried out at the Costa degli Etruschi EPIC, or of positivity confirmed in the 6 (six) months following the Costa degli Etruschi EPIC, the competitor is required to pay the Organizing Committee, by way of compensation for the serious damage caused to the image of the event, the sum of €50,000.00 (fifty thousand euros/00). If belonging to a sports association, the latter will be
jointly obliged to pay this fine.
The C.O. reserves the right to prosecute the competitor and the sports club in all appropriate venues to protect its image
The competitor also expresses consent to the use of his/her image and data, as required by Legislative Decree
no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (regulation regarding the protection of personal data).
Sending the form online is considered to all intents and purposes an electronic signature of the same. By
electronic signature the law means the set of data in electronic form, attached or connected through logical
association to other electronic data, used as a method of computer identification.
TIMEKEEPING
The My Sdam Official Timer company is responsible for timekeeping. Excluding the competitive categories
(Open/Junior) for which physical arrival is required by UCI/FCI regulations, the travel time will be measured
based on the competitor’s real time.

ONLINE REGISTRATION/DECLARATION
By submitting the online registration the athlete declares:
to have a sports medical certificate according to the Ministerial Decree. dated 02.18.82;
WITHOUT A VALID SPORTS MEDICAL CERTIFICATE THE ATHLETE CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE RACE
to possess a regular membership card if registered with a company;
to have civil liability insurance against third parties
that I have read and accepted the regulations
to consent to the use of his images and data without request for compensation.
